We hope you all had a Merry Christmas and have had a wonderful New Year so far! We had a very busy 2009 and it looks as though 2010 is going to be even busier!
Since our last blog post, we have held too many coffee mornings for us to count, in lots of places around Wicklow and South Dublin, and they were all great successes!
On the 28th of October 2009 we held our annual swim in the Shoreline in Bray, thanks to everybody who turned up, helped out and raised money for Homelink and Easi-Cabs.
On Thursday the 26th November 2009, we held a Thanksgiving Party for our Members in the Esplanade Hotel in Bray. Over 120 people turned up! And we all enjoyed the delicious food and listening and dancing to Ray Cranley who came along to play music for us on the day! We even had Santa Claus there to get us into the Christmas spirit!
Maoiliosa joined the Homelink team in November 2009. As she lives locally and loves talking, we think she will be a great asset to the team! Maoiliosa has worked as a Team Leader with the Enniskerry division of the Meals on Wheels for the past five years, and will take over the Chairperson’s role at the end of 2010. She and the Homelink team are working hard to ensure that 2010 is a year where the Homelink message will continue to reach those who will benefit most from our range of services.
